So I'm listening to Rabbit Fur Coat by Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins, and I've learned from Last.fm that M. Ward is a producer -- no wonder I like it so much! (Fancy that, he just came on as a backing vocal on "Handle With Care"!)
Last.fm is amazing for other reasons. I've found some pictures of Neko Case that are utterly Ellie from dragstormaround. Observe: with truck! with self-assured calm! with taking no shit! There's also something about Jenny Lewis and her facial expressions that gets Ellie down too.
(It's never too late to leave feedback on dragstormaround, by the way! *hopeful smile?*)
So, I've been cleaning up my apartment, which, let me tell you -- I do my Pit of Eternal Chaos proud. I'm mostly down to the bits that involve throwing away or saving all the bits of paper on the floor, and either folding or laundry basket-ing the clothes on the floor. Anyway! The point is, I unearthed a completely unopened jar of Nutella. Victory arms for me!
So, hey! I'm going to make my own holiday cards this year. You heard me, folks -- handmade collage cards, and a mixed CD chosen at random for them as want it! (Leave a comment indicating as such, since I'm a genius and forgot to include it in the poll. Also tell me, generally, what sort of mix you'd like! I got lots.)
