After knowing her online for seven and a half years, I finally got to meet
eudaimon (and her fella) in person. Not to be weird about it, but RUTH, THAT WAS GREAT, let's do it again! <333333 For real, though -- A++, so pleased we made that work.

IT IS SO HOT IN NEW YORK, WHAT THE HELLLLLLL. Didn't go outside at all yesterday, but today I was determined not to be a shut-in, so I... went to the Brooklyn Flea, which turns out to be a flea market on a blacktop surface, which... in something like 94F weather that feels like 107F... I mean, put it this way: there was an entire tent that was just a constant grocery-store mist of water. Still, even after that, I walked a hell of a long way back to Prospect Park, lounged in the park after talking with my dad, then walked even further through Park Slope until I took the train home rather than investigate some of the boutiques further down the street, whereupon I took off everything I had sweated through (so... all of it, yeah), had some ice cream and kept bingeing Jane the Virgin. Got my 10K steps, though!

I am recommitting to online dating. My therapist has challenged me to go on 50 dates. I think I've gone on, like, 10 to 15 in my entire life? One or two second dates that I can remember? But I've downloaded Tinder (A HOT MESS, what even is this UX???) and Bumble (an astonishing number of investment bankers, Australians and Italians), and I revamped my OKC profile. Feeling pretty okay about those! Just have to... actually get these guys I'm chatting with to actually go on a date.

I need to try out the NYT recipe for cold sesame noodles, my new obsession.

I did a thing I've been meaning to do forever, which is collect my MCU drabbles on AO3. It had been a while since I'd revisited some of them, and I'm still quite pleased with just about every one! They've all got at least one element that I'm proud of. So: The American Way for Team Cap fiction and Known Goobers of the MCU for ridiculous gen behind-the-scenes RPF. ♥
