Polexia_Aphrodite - 2500 words, Sharon/Steve, porny!
I LOVE THIS. Steve and Sharon meeting up while they're both on the run, Steve just needing something good to happen, Sharon being all forward and quietly in control, and I just. Oh yes, I am here for this. \o/Steve catches a glimpse of her in the reflection of a shop window. Her hair is tucked up and under a baseball cap; her eyes are hidden behind iridescent sunglasses. She wears a simple, cotton wrap dress and sandals, a uniform he sees often on tourists exploring the city. The late spring heat has turned her skin flushed and dewy. His heart clutches in his chest; for all that he’s forsaken everything he knew, seeing a familiar face sends a shudder of relief through him.

Siria - 8500 words, Agent Carter crossover, Steve/Peggy plus some friends
I LOVE THIS!!! Steve is working for the SSR after the war, and it's just not the same with Peggy, and then this case falls in their laps and... I don't want to say more. But the mood is perfect and the action and the characters and the emotions are perfect, and this is just such a great read. Do yourself the favor!Into the sudden quiet, she said, "We didn't know who we could trust."
That stung, more than Steve had thought something could.
"Don't look at me like that-in your case, it was more that we couldn't be sure you wouldn't run off on your own and do something idiotic."
"Gee willikers," Steve said, "thanks."
Beyond that, I'm really enjoying
this piece dragging Marvel executive editor Tom Brevoort about this horrible interview he gave complaining about all the whiners whining about Captain America: Steve Rogers.
If you like nerdy counterfactual stuff, someone has
mapped out where Wakanda is, based on Civil War, and gone into things like actual climate and language choices, as well as the viability of a monarchy when only one actually remains in Africa. Super super neat!
Also, I just really like this infographic
explaining film noir. Something for everyone tonight. <3 Hi!
