askamanager_feed, actually. All I've done this morning is freak out and take a shower. (And realize that I haven't had a good boss since 2008. Literally, no joke. 2008, last good boss who wasn't actively destructive. Small fucking wonder I'm freaking out!!)
Informal poll, though: Have you ever lost out on a job, internship or fellowship as a young person because they told you you were overqualified? (So, not code for "you're too old.") Has it kept you from getting the damn experience you need to get jobs you are qualified for? That's happened to me multiple times over the years, even when I was a new college graduate with almost nothing to my name, and I want some idea if it's even vaguely a trend. (Strangers welcome -- hi!)
