Epitaphs of the historically significant
I don't think my love for Tom Hiddleston should be in question. But sometimes I just want to drop into the Hollow Crown tag on Tumblr with some lovingly edited photoset of Henry V and caption it "And then he died of the shits."
I may have to do this in lieu of actually having a conversation about how painfully bad I find Thea Sharrock's Henry V, and how painful I find it that this production squandered what was built up in the Henry IVs. I simply do not have the energy to dissuade the teeming Tom-worshipping throngs. (Even if Tom himself believes he delivered a far better St. Crispin's Day speech on a talk show than in the final cut. And I agree with him.)
In other news, The Hollow Crown RPF is the only one of my Yuletide nominations that hasn't been approved yet. Come on, mods, I know you have, er, two metric tons on your plate, but I need to encourage/enable someone to write me more Joe/Michelle, please.
