My quarter's still not over yet, technically: I have to transcribe an interview that did not go very well (both because she wasn't the right source and because she reminded me physically of my old boss, which threw me), and then do some edits on my feature (if there's anything to really add). But I'm also well on my way to giving myself projects for the next few weeks before my last quarter starts up.

I've already updated my fic masterpost (added a Hollow Crown section, included more Thor and Yuletide stuff), but most of the older links still point to LJ entries, which don't have comments enabled or showing, so it's time to dig up the DW links and put some old stuff on AO3. I also super want to get going on Coldspur, which I think can happen as soon as I get this feature finished today. (Current goal is to get something ready in time for The Hollow Crown to start airing on PBS in the U.S. at the end of the month.)

And speaking of
magpieandwhale, there are like, five essays I want to write up, including one that hit me this morning, though I don't know how much I really do need to say about why I love Jeremy Irons in Henry IV Part 2, but that I can't really watch it again, because he's so clearly portraying a man dying of cancer. (Ugh, I may also have to unfollow John Green on Tumblr, not least because he's a Cassie Claire fanboy, but also because I can't deal with all his The Fault in Our Stars movie updates, and with the fact that apparently the inspiration for that story is a dead teenaged girl named Esther.)

But yeah, I'm possibly gearing up for another 2K book review (this time for a book I'm really liking!), plus some Welcome to Night Vale thoughts, plus organizing photography stuff and resume stuff and job search stuff, and -- planning a brief escape to D.C. and actually buying a nice camera and housecleaning and biking up to the Botanic Garden and--

This break is going to be hella busy, isn't it.
