All the songs in my head right now are sad. Which is so incongruous!
Sleeping until you wake up is the second best thing in the world, right after having a stocked kitchen. Shortly after I post this entry, I am going to make tea, eat strawberries and contemplate my awesome day, which include a trip to Target that is just one quick bus ride away.
Yesterday was totally the first part of "I am renter, hear me roar!" I installed my new showerhead and am so nerdily excited to use it I could fall over just thinking about it. I have a filter on my kitchen sink (necessary) and may get one for the bathroom as well (oh, old pipes). There are pictures hanging on already-existing nails in the wall. I have plans for shower curtains, regular curtains, pot racks and plants. (So much plants!) By the end of today I predict my lampless bedroom will have its very own light source. I also spent some time (uh, maybe 45 minutes) looking at light plate covers on Etsy, which taught me that there is no wrong time or place for Adam Lambert. In conclusion: the world is awesome.
Today or tomorrow will probably also be a fic-organizing day. I put my new one (True Blood apocafic with Greek mythology, if you missed it!) up on AO3, and I think this is a trend I want to continue, though perhaps in the future, even though I don't plan on putting the fic itself on LJ, I'll end up offering links to both DW and AO3. (What can I say, I'm a sucker for a hit counter.)
