You know he basically didn't smile or joke with people or be anything but Dick Winters for a full year, right? There's a quote somewhere where he talks about wanting to just tap-dance or do something crazy, and he never could. DLewis, I salute that kind of commitment.
I hadn't really thought about that, actually. Good god. I especially like that linked up with the trivia from IMDB that he auditioned hung over and on three hours of sleep.
I can't decide which would be more brutal - being Dick Winters for a year straight or being Lewis Nixon for a year straight. One seems like the headspace would be worse but you'd have more fun... (though I gotta say, having that Winters aspect would probably be useful/enriching in life in general)

Sorry, that's just a detail that I hadn't been able to figure out. The only time he does it is when he's laughing at Nix and Goebbels' stash.
