This is such a sweet after-episode-fic. I love how Andrea and Rusty both know exactly what it is that Sharon needs from them, and that they just do whatever it is that needs to be done for her to feel better.

I especially loved this, ahem: It definitely wasn’t Jack because she’d changed the locks and thrown out his suits.

Yes, thank you. Sharon has moved on from that unhealthy relationship and is building a new, albeit unconventional, but loving and supportive family. So lovely.

I like to think that Rusty shows his love for Sharon by doing - the same way he does for his mother. The Muse is probably going to gift me with Torn!Rusty this season...

I like that he's considering Sharon's feelings, even as he's hiding the truth from her.

A great coda to the stress of that ep! And I think the line about Jack is going to get lots of love :-) So good seeing Sharon having all her loved ones together in a fashion after that day. And the WD-40 thought...yeah, that's a mom thing :-)

Such a strong sense of family here with all parties involved. I like that Sharon is able to let the comfort in and it shows how secure she feels with Andrea and Rusty.

Rusty's comment about Sharon's kids being lucky if she has an overprotective mom moment inspired all kinds of feels.

I'm tickled you picked up on Rusty's comment. I feel like he's at the point where he can accept that his mother had screwed up, hadn't been protective enough, etc, and it doesn't mean he doesn't love his mother, but that he knows how well off he is with Sharon. I try to throw some of those bits in. *hugs Rusty*

("The Other Sharon" is going to be a source of a lot of angst for me this week and possibly beyond...)
