The son had betrayed his mother. That’s what did it. She couldn’t be married to a man who would hurt their mother like that.
She rushed home, shedding the tears she knew their mother hadn’t, at least not around anyone but the Admiral--their father--or maybe Tory. And she packed her bag.
Dee wanted to be gone before Lee got home. She didn’t want to face him. The anger and disappointment was too much. She’d been willing to put up with him and his shenanigans with Kara: After all, she’d always known what was between them. But this. She couldn’t forgive this.
