Things Candice appreciates: increased mobility. She's actually been fully capable of walking around some for a while now, but convincing Martel of that isn't something she's been entirely certain about broaching--the man forms his opinions and then tends to stick to them, put it that way, and she's not ungrateful for the concern.
However, she's still really grateful for being able to wander out to the library. The fact that she chooses to do this in the high-necked little white nightgown Maria left for her is irrelevant; she's gotten more comfortable being like this in what is essentially Martel's home, no matter how gigantic it seems to her. She does hope none of the be-kilted Arums are still lingering inside, though it seems a little late for them. That'd be embarrassing.
It occurs to her she doesn't know where Martel is, or...if he's going to be moderately displeased she got up out of bed, but she did fine at Stigmata, right? Right. So clearly she can just get up and wander around when she chooses.
