I've been to a concert yesterday (24 oct.) at Leipzig (Germany) of Mando Diao. I adore this band it is my favourit that's why I want to share this with you.
I don't know if you know them (you definitly should ;)). They are from Sweden and by now very popular here in Germany.
So it was my first time that I've been to a concert alone. But it didn't matter to me, because I was so looking forward to see Mando Diao again. I 've already seen them this year in Berlin, that was when I decided to see them in october again. It was not a bad decision ;)
I think it was 8 p.m. when Carl Norén came on stage. He actually is one of the singers of Sugarplum Fairy and a brother of Gustaf, one of the singers of Mando Diao. He performed some solo songs, which were really nice. I don't remember how many it were, I think something between 3 or 4 songs.
When he left the actual supporting band came on stage. I've never herad of them before. They are called "The Rumble Strips" and come from England. I really liked them. I would say that they were the best supporting act Mando Diao ever had. I don't know if you know this band, but if you don't you should give them a try.

After their performance there was a break. Then the light went of. Five screens came up and showed some pictures of sweden (I guess). After this little introduction Mando Diao came on stage and the audience went wild. There first song was "Blue Lining White Trenchcoat" of their newest Album "Give Me Fire". They were great as always. They played a mix between new and old songs, which were perfectly chosen. And all the time this little screens were up in the background and showed pictures, or music videos or something else.
I found a video for you, where you can see the stage. It's not from Leipzig, but it's kind of the same ;)

You can see that the audience jumped mostly the whole time. Gustaf noticed it and said something like "You like to jump? Go on. Dance like there is no tomorrow!"
With "Down in the past" they made everyone jump and dance around. I really love this song! At the end of the concert everyone was dancing, really everyone! It was so great!
Ok, while I wrote this entry I found a video from Leipzig. It's "Burning Up":

Oh I forgot to tell you that they switched stages for their accoustic perfomances, which were also really amazing. I found a video of yesterday at Leipzig of one of their most beautiful songs "All my senses" (ignore the title, because it is not burning up but all my senses)

It was a great night with a great band! Unfortunatly concerts always end too early. I could have listend and danced all night long!
At thursday I will be at the concert of Muse in Berlin. I will write about it too.
