Late Evening Post
Just wanted to post a super short post about seeing Jimmy Eat World last night.
--- Was waiting in line for three hours in the cold. Me and Jon had hot coffee, so we were good for the most part. We kept warm by moving around, talking to other attendees and singing a few of their songs. It was pretty fun, plus we saw some of the members getting off their bus and getting equipment and everything. Fun times.
--- When we finally got inside, we were in the 14th row, so it was decent distance from the stage. I was a little wary of moshing, since last time I went to a concert at Metro, there was some serious moshing and I got punched in the arm, on purpose. Apparently, I wasn't "being cool" and they were just being assholes about it. So yeah, I was relieved I was away from the "action" for the most part.
--- The opening act, Reubans Accomplince, was really great. They really got everyone pumped for JEW and by the time they finally got on the stage, everyone was like... "Okay, we're about to have an awesome time."
--- The setlist was was really great, playing classics from nearly all their albums, including "Clarity", which is my personal fave. All in all, top night!
