Spotlight Artist of the Week #11
Hello, everybody!!!
Another Spotlight Artist of the Week is upon us and I'll like to introduce Deer Tick!
I've listened to this band for about a year, hearing them through friends and assoicates, but never knowing their name until quite recently. They have an an alt-folk sound with a little bit of grunge thrown in for good measure. What you see is what you get with them. They were recently featured in South by Southwest and were claimed to be one of the bands to watch by Rolling Stone. Whatever the prasie they receive, it's much deserved. They have a new album due out at the end of this month. I advice you to take a listen my favorite song by the band, moving out of their first apartment and seeing the only thing that defined them of their time there. I really like band, hope you do too.
