working as Hellblinki's publicist now. What an annoying job.
The recording last weekend went pretty well. We got everything we had intended to record recorded and had some time for some experimentation. I think I could live the rest of my life with comic books and a recording studio.
I got to play some incredibly obscure bass guitars that Rodney had. I'm not normally much of a gear freak but this was pretty nice. I have to say my favorite toy to mess around with on the trip was the old Roland re-150 space echo.
This thing was in amazing condition and had almost never been used since the 70s. It sounded amazing!
In non band related news, I continue to be an epic failure at relationships, but at least I'm back to the point of not caring.
I've taken up a daily regimen of simple yoga for an hour a day and that has improved my mood all around. Been going for almost 2 weeks now.
Some pretty good shows coming up. I'm excited about seeing Stinking Lizavetta for the first time this Thursday with US Christmas. I have Matt and Jeremy going with me. Hopefully Matt won't bail on me again.
I just finished reading Sandman and I'm picking up Lucifer.
Now I'm off to go see Sunshine Cleaning. I'm also betting I get stood up.
