Every once in a while I am able to pull something off in the kitchen that is pretty damn tasty. Today was one of those days.
I discovered today that I negate electrical charges somehow. I knew I wasn't from earth.
I have enough money for rent after getting gas and groceries. After getting paid for shows, working at the theater and 2 more side jobs I think I can make it. Too bad those side jobs are going to end soon.
Were playing a few shows in the area. Thursday is Asheville, Friday is Sylva, and Saturday is Hickory.
I spent some time yesterday looking at various venue calendars checking out who was coming to town or near by in the next few months. It looks like a lot of good metal is coming around and very few of the shows conflict our shows.
Saw Unknown Hinson Wednesday night. He was better than when we opened for him back in October. They actually remembered me too. That was kind of cool.
We did some recording Saturday. The new album is going to kill the last one. I'm admittedly disappointed with the way oratory turned out. I have rough versions of 2 new songs plus were doing a new version of "diggin'", a new version of "I pray", "Don't go down to the woods tonight", "Happy Wake up Song",and "Gypsy Noodle". I'm writing a mariachi song that might get used.
Overall I've been in bright spirits lately.
