(no subject)
Its 6 at night, I still haven't finished my paper that is due tomorrow....haha! Hey what can I say I work better under pressure! I'm just about at the halfway point through my first semester at Oakland University, thank God! I'm 54 short credits away from my Bachelor's degree now, if everything goes well this semester. I've decided to go to school this summer. Only going to take a couple of classes though.
Anyways, the trip down to New Orleans or should I say, N'awlins went well. I had fun. Although I should've left a day earlier. I didn't go to any parades, well I could've but we were at the Hard Rock Cafe...haha. I took lots of pictures saw the devastated areas that were damaged from the hurricane. Yeah it was pretty bad. The ghetto, just basically got a lot more ghetto. Hah, yeah and the last night I was there, there was a tornado! Yup, it was about 15-30 minutes away, I thought it was just a really bad storm.
Hit up a Margaritaville! Too bad I'm not quite 21 yet otherwise I would've had a drink.
All n' all it was a fun drive down, passing exit signs such as one for "Needmore Rd." and crossing over the Chunky River in Mississippi...hahahaha, made me hungry for Campbell's Soup. Visiting with Colleen and Phil in there new place was pretty cool!
Saturday I was more than happy to have the privilege of watching Hank Zetterberg get his first hat trick of his career! Speaking of hockey...I got a pair of new hockey skates about a month ago...that are the same kind that Hank wears!! Hell yeah and I've been going ice skating 2-3 times a week. Its just making me want to rent the ice out more and more. I was thinking about getting a bunch of people together and going, so if I got a day during the week would anyone of y'all be interested in coming out? (It'll be at Mt. Clemens)
