Steve is not a baseball player. Not in any remote semblance of the word.
But Danny likes baseball, and he's trying to organize these teams, and they've been having discussions about being more supportive of one another, because it's what a good partner does (of course, most of that reasoning came from Danny when Steve put his foot down about participating in any games, and Steve couldn't find a way to argue with that logic, especially after Danny had done a lot in the way of convincing).
So Steve's out at the baseball diamond, tossing a few balls up in the air to himself and testing out his swing, jogging to each of the bases, practicing sliding into home. If he's going to play for Danny's team (and even he realizes how much of a double entendre that is in his head), he needs to get a little better before game day.
