[instead of his usual video posts, Sora's turned on only audio this afternoon on account of his hands are full-- the 'gear must be attached to his belt or something, because his voice sounds kind of far off, and almost drowned out by the sound of him shifting around a huge box filled with bottles and trinkets and who knows what else in his arms. as

[Well, this will be Terra, grabbing Sora by his jacket and pulling him back behind him, glaring up at that Charizard.]

[the Charizard rears his head back and puffs up, and then-- DARTANIAN USED FLAMETHROWER.]

[Man, if he had his keyblade, this would be so much easier. But okay, he'll push Sora out of the way of that flamethrower, dodge rolling to the right.]

[he nearly falls over at that push, trying to call his Keyblade but he can't, ugh-- he'll just snatch up the nearby pokégear and point it at the furious dragon instead. beep, beep.]

Dartanian, level 45... Trainer... Sora? What?!

[Dartanian is going to fry shrimpy red Trainer at all costs, whether big-pants human gets in the way or not. it roars again, looming closer.]

[Terra's readying a punch for Dartanian; Pokemon or not, he's not going to let Sora get fried any time soon.]

[and Dartanian will attempt to meet Terra's fist with a Fire Fang if he chooses to throw that punch-- Sora scrambles for a Pokéball in the meantime.]

[Sora crouches down, ready to pounce like a cat-- yes, the 5-foot-nothing is planning on wrestling a 6-foot dragon into submission.]

[WELL LET'S SEE IT THEN, YOU OVERGROWN FIRE LIZARD. TERRA'S ALWAYS WONDERED WHAT FIRE ATTACKS LOOKED LIKE IN PERSON ANYWAY.

[Ohhhhhh fuck. Saying that it doesn't hurt would be a huge lie, but it's a good thing that armor staved off some of the flames and... fangs. He's pretty sure he's gonna have to run to the Center soon.

But he holds his ground, gritting his teeth and grabbing the Charizard's muzzle, lifting up and aiming a kick for its eyes in hopes of freeing his arm.]

[oh Dartanian will let go all right, both as a result of the kick in the eyes and Sora retaliating by shoulder-checking him right in the gut. oh, no pokémon of his is going to get away with biting his friends. who cares if Dartanian outweighs him by 200 pounds; Sora's putting all of his weight into that shoulder check to knock the Charizard off balance and initiating a wrestling match. ding, ding, round one, fight!]

[Terra nearly stumbles back when his arm is freed, already knowing that it'd be useless in this fight. He doesn't stop though, finally deciding to reach for a pokeball to call out his Pikachu, who settles on his left shoulder as Terra joins Sora's shoulder-checking with his right.]

Volt, thundershock. [It's a good thing he aims for the Charizard's face, hopefully the shocks won't get to them too.]

[if the thundershock did hit him, there's really no way of telling, as his hair's already standing up on end to begin with-- Dartanian's flamethrower in anger at the zap barely even fazes him when he's hit and his shirt starts charring and burning; Sora just smashes the pokéball against the Charizard's face and recalls him. in a burst of red light both keyderps will likely fwump on the ground hard.]

[Good call. Terra manages to not fall on his bad arm at least, smoke leaving his whole person. After a moment he tries to get up, going over to Sora carefully.]

Sora? You okay?

[he... picks himself up to a sitting position with a nod, his face contorted. his shirt is singed and a small patch of it is actually burned to his shoulder, but that's not what he's upset about-- he's furious that a dragon that is apparently his bit Terra. Sora climbs to his feet and reaches for Terra's uninjured arm.]

C'mon. Pokécenter.

[He doesn't argue with that, nodding and making sure Sora's steady before heading towards the Center. Volt trails along behind him, quiet for once.]
