You're probably not old enough to remember this....

I'm watching the original The Producers--and we just got to the auditions for Hitler--Wally (the parrot) sidled over to his bell and started to ring it in time to Dick Shawn singing Love Power.

So maybe when the birds get tired of Celtic Thunder I can try some Gidget movies.

They are odd little critters. I think I may try them on 1776 later.

Package for you finally packed and sealed. Stuff for A and the first two book in the series for you.

I'm guessing that's Ma bad pix of Michael B and not Paul Muni or JDM in your icon.

Who is Paul Muni? And what is "Ma bad pix"?

And it's a GREAT picture of MB, thank you very much. ;)

a bad pix and if that's a good pix, he's never going to do it for me...
I like that Chris Lambert, Linus Roache, Alan Rickman look...Richard Armitage....sigh

Paul Muni--I am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang. You don't watch enough Turner Classic Movies, or in my case I literally watched them at my Gramma's knee. Saw Petrified Forest last week.

It's actually a great pic of Kyle Reese...MB just happens to play him. ;)

Turner Classic Movies? Is that a show or something? ;)

(just kidding, I know what it is...but I've never watched it!)

It's not all B&W you know. Although I rewatched Man for All Seasons last week, just to remind myself that the Tudors is well, look at the title.

Just finished Pillars of the Earth, I not going to rec it to you since I think the Brother Caedfal mysteries are as much of the 1100s as you want. It was a real page turner, which I didn't expect from a novel about building a cathedral. Ended with Henry II and Beckett. (I know, there was a Henry seque there)
