Blood donating--Not a Bad Idea
Yup, here I am again urging you to go donate if you're able. Be your own hero--save someone' life.
Apparently, I have tracks.... The tech looked at both arms and grinned at the big vein in my left (I'm left handed). When she was swabbing and getting ready to stick me she said, "you've got scars, do you donate regularly?"
I'm working on my 5th gallon, so yes. Who knew...they're tiny.
OTOH, everyone oohed over the baseball sized bruise on my right arm where I managed to tangle the knitting, the backpack and my purse and wham my arm hard against the doorknob. Perfect technicolor circle.
