Random acts of kindness
Last Friday when I left the house it was rainging. By the time I got to the bus stop it had stopped.
I furled my umbrella, set it on the floor next to my seat and settled in.
At Ave I I hopped out to catch the B11. Because there was a school bus in the
bus stop already the driver dropped me at the corner.
As I walked to the bus shelter I noticed that my bus had pulled in as the school bus pulled out and there was a
woman hanging out the front door--waving my umbrella at me. She'd spotted it and asked the driver to pull over so
she could give it back.
A totally unexpected rescue by strangers. And it poured later in the day when I was on my way home.
