I'm so glad all the college kids are getting Macs. You will love it.

Also, one thing to maybe help with your money situation: Apparently at Founders Festival there's a table for high school kids to sell stuff. I don't know if it costs anything but if so it's probably cheap. You could sell your jewlery. Palmer told me about it so I'll have to find out if they still have it this year.

And that really sucks about the pictures, and losing your camera. I think I'll start actually backing up my stuff now. But once you get your Mac stuff like this will be far less likely to happen.

is that all palmer said about it?? i'll call tomorrow and ask because it's sunday and there's probably no one there... i looked into getting a booth there but it was $200 and the application had to be in at the end of april

and definitely start backing your stuff up, even if it's less likely to happen with a mac.

hope you had fun in italy!

Yeah, I looked into it this morning too, but the application I saw said it was due February 28. I called their "hotline" and left a message earlier asking for details or if this thing exists, so I'll keep you posted if they get back to me. I love Ms. Palmer and everything, but she's kind of scatterbrained, so she might be misinformed about this thing. But what she told me was that they had contacted her before about whether any of her students wanted to sell stuff. I don't know whether any did.
