(I'm kinda gonna rant here to make my point...and sorry if any of this is incoherent.) You're totally right. I know you've been saying that love doesn't have to be boring for years, and I always agreed (not sure if I ever shared that with you!). The same definitely goes for life. I feel the same as you about keeping excitement in your life, and I've been doing that as much as I can over the past few years by taking spontaneous trips that I could barely afford too. To me, that's how you make the best memories and live life to the fullest (in a pretty minimal way). And this year, I still don't have a steady job, but I'm gonna treat myself to another trip to visit my best friend early next year because why shouldn't I? And the same goes for anyone else in a similar position in life -- why the hell shouldn't you have as much fun as when you were a kid? I've been asking myself that for YEARS now, but everything's so different and serious now with most of my friends. My dad and sister told me not to do these things; they're EXACTLY the type of people who are downers about life. I used to be so much more carefree when I was in high school and younger, and I realized that's what I need in life to stay myself and sane after finally bouncing back from my family loss which hit me really hard!

I'm trying to say "GO US!" for recognizing this! Life live exactly as you want! Be daring! I have so much more to say, but it pertains more to Americans in general.
