Dude is Blink 182 really back together? like i'm fully aware how UNCOOL it became to like them after they got all popular and stuff, but i personally think their shit is awesome. the entire albums of Dude Ranch and Enema of the State make me so happy, not least of all b/c it reminds me of high school. once i went to see them in concert and someone i was with (i forget who) fell asleep during their set....and i was so baffled how this could happen. and you can't knock Travis as a drummer, i'm sorry. i saw him play the drums upside down onstage once...wtf, that's amazing.
and am i the only one who feels HORRIBLE whenever they play Rihanna's songs on the radio?? she has 547985439 songs in rotation at any given time, and last night i drove for maybe 20 minutes and heard 4 on various stations. i know nobody knows what happened, but the media blew this whole thing up and now i feel bad whenever i hear her singing. and they played "No Air" (no one is really playing any solo Chris Brown songs right now), and i got angry. and then subsequently felt bad for Jordin and hoped she didn't piss him off. i almost hope all this stuff is true (almost) b/c the media reports have already affected my emotional opinion. and poor Chris Brown if it's all lies.
EDIT: oh yeah! they totally got rid of my favorite alternative music station and replaced it with a Top 40 station. now, I love pop music as much as the next ditzy teenager, but REALLY? the New York/New Jersey area now has FOUR blatantly Top 40 stations (one is unabashedly Top 40, complete with airing Ryan Seacrest's nonsense from LA...one is "the best mix of the 80s->today without the rap" - like they literally take rap solos out of songs before they play them, LAME - ps, guys, that's REALLY called Top 40 + songs that were once Top 40....and we have two "lite" stations which basically play the same as the previously discussed station but without any rock...well unless it COUNTS as lite, like they play "Shadow of the Day" by Linkin Park and stuff like that). like, seriously? Krock sucks again, too, every time i go there it's some old rock (not my thing personally, PLUS we have a classic rock station already). im BUMMMMMMED!
