AnimeNEXT was SO FUN!
Cathy came and she looked AMAZING. i'm so glad she could make it and cosplay with me. i'm gonna miss her a lot when she goes to England for school. :(
my brother dressed as Snorlax, and he was a huge hit! at the rave we safety-pinned glowsticks to his hands and he danced around in the costume. so awesome. and some advice guys, please don't make a mascot costume and begin actual physical work on it three days before it is to be worn. it's a bad bad bad bad bad bad idea.
my ears STILL HURT from having giant elf ears glued to them on Saturday hahaha. I think Leaf might be the costume to date i am most proud of. I spent so much time getting the armor done and shooting for accuracy, and except for a few things that weren't finished b/c of Snorlax, the whole effect really is exactly what I was going for. I'm so happy with it. only like three or four people knew who i was, but two of them were super Lodoss fangirls (i can RELATE) & it's always cool as hell when you find those people. my armor started showing signs of con wear by the nighttime, but I'll fix it for Otakon.
we got to hang out with hatefulsarang, krylonfire, darkark, and x_notsosilent_x on Sunday which was so cool. i <3 you guys.
i found the TOKIKO FIGURE IN THE DEALERS ROOM GJFDKJGSKLFDJGKLFDJSKLGJSKJKSLJF. I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW I DIED WHEN I SAW IT OMG. Gi also bought me BOBBLEHEAD KENSHIN and it is the cutest friggin thing i've ever seen.
i have so many crack pics it's not even funny. i cannot wait to finish uploading. srsly, i cant look thru my pics without laughing my ass off. i rode on the roof of a car, and whipped a dominatrix with her own whip, and stabbed a giant Pokemon with a spear, and fell off a building, and got date raped by a giant plushie. holy shit, we are crazy.
i am EXHAUSTED. i can't believe Otakon is in TWO FUCKING WEEKS. what the BALLS. I think I need to go sleep for three days straight.
