Free things and fussy babies
So this afternoon someone shared a target coupon for a $10 gift card with any purchase over $50 for today only.
So I did my shopping and separated my purchases into 2 separate transactions. I got a $10 gift card for each transaction since they were each over $50 ($52 and $60 to be exact). But! In each transaction I had purchased items that they were giving $5 gift cards for purchasing. For example the promotion on the case of diapers I bought was buy the $34.99 case and get $5 off.
I ended up with $45 worth of gift cards this evening. It was pretty sweet. I never get to take advantage of good deals like that so I'm really excited.
Also, my daughter needs to stop trying to skip naps and putting off bedtime. She's been doing it a lot lately and holy crap does she become fussy mcfuss pants.
Usually she gets a bottle and halfway through its lights out, she falls asleep eating. So she generally takes a nap after each bottle and at night when she gets her bedtime bottle, she falls asleep around 8:30-9:00 and it's lights out til 6am. She's been skipping naps and not wanting to sleep lately so, Tonigh,t for the first time ever, I actually put her to sleep like a normal baby is supposed to be put to sleep, lol. I turned off all the noise, turned down the lights, gave her a paci and just let her wind down. She's finally sleeping. I'm supremely proud of myself.
