If I bought a single dress (size 36 in brown, please) that costs well over half a grand (yet still less than three-quarters, pre-tax!), but could only wear it 16 days a year, would the cost be more worth it if I made the commitment that forced me to wear it 34 times a year instead

Perhaps if you also auditioned for Sherwood Forest and TRF?

well, Sherwood conflicts. But I don't see how it fixes my commitment issues to register for an additional 2-4 months of 2+ hours of travel one-way.
