Hey Paul! I got a Wii today. I got Zelda and TH Downhill Jam. I have a target card worth 1 more game...what game should I buy? Is Madden good? How about super monkey ball? What other fun stuff should I be doing with it?

Red Steel's controls seem odd and unresponsive to me. Plus, the sword fighting is a huge, huge, HUGE disappointment.

Yeah, I beat the Rayman story mode kinda quickly, too. But I still pop it in and play the funner games. The rail shooter levels are always fun, and I find something new each time.

Oh, and sorry... A PLUS Z-TRIGGER attacks. You've done that as a wolf, right? Where you can jump on guys and rip at their throats? Awesome stuff.

And again, why would you want to buy a guide?

1) as Kevin said, you can find the exact same info online for free
2) what's the point of finding a heart container if you didn't really find it? Yesterday I stumbled upon a quick mini-cave that I had to scale down to get a heart piece. That was fun and exciting. Would have meant nothing if I was like "Oh, hey, this book tells me that there's a heart container here, and exactly what to do to get it. Great."
3) Besides, I don't think I've died since I've been up to 5 hearts. I'm at 13 hearts right now, and to be honest, that's kinda boring. I'll find the rest of them after I beat the game.
4) And why even buy/play the game? The guide just tells you want to do and what happens, and it's cheaper than the game.

I'm not 100% sure of what bridge you're talking about. The bridge just outside the West exit of the castle, I think, is repaired once you donate 1000 rupees to a rock dude in Keriokee (sp?) village. The bridge that was warped away is that bridge further North West of that one, near the little town where you have a Western-style shootout with 20 baddies. But you may be talking about something different I haven't found.

yeah, I figured out the A + Z attack thing...but I'm thinking it's bugged or something. I'm in the sewers just after you escape from the cell, and I've died probably 10 times now due to not being able to attack. I'll hit Z and lock onto them, but then A does absolutely nothing. I'll keep hitting both buttons...no response. I'll shake the controller, which also does an attack while out of combat, but it does nothing while IN combat.

It's getting pretty frustrating, I've restarted this area so many times now and keep dying helplessly.

If you're in water, you can't attack until later in the game. stay in very shallow water, like on the semi flooded sides of the sewers. Also, you can't always do a throat bite on every enemy. Generally, just Z-target them and swing the remote to attack as normal unless you want to jump attack. Then, its Z-target, and then hit a. Not simultaneously.

No, i was talking about that. But I just hope that they can move the bridge when I donate 1000 rupees. Also, have you explored the castle village yet? The star game, gives you a better quiver 1st time with 1 clawshot and second time later with dual clawshots, and the Aigitha woman, will give you an upgraded wallet after showing her just one bug, and give you the second upgraded wallet after collecting all 24 bugs. Do you know what happens when you pay the priest 1000 just inside the east entrance to the castle village? I think something happens. The fortune teller does something when you question her about your love life fortune.

Also, the guide I got, tells me a lot about the game, but I still find a ton of stuff on my own that it DOESN'T talk about. Like how to get the treasure chest right above the entrance to death mountain, or the treasure chest thats on the island in hyrule field. I imagine dual clawshots for the island but i don't know how to get the one in keirko village.

Yes, I've played the star game with hookshots and have given bug girl bugs. I figured it all out on my own, making it fun and seem like I've accomplished things on my own. Don't need a guide to help me find things in a game.

Yeah, I beat the game, I don't know, kind of blahish. And it pisses me off that I couldn't keep playing after the kingdom was saved. I had all but 3 hearts when fighting the end boss, and the hardest part was timing the swing back at him when he threw the energy balls at me. And no, I didn't read the strat guide all that much when I got to the temples, just for the odd stuff, like how to catch a hylian loach. Which, I have, but only a baby one.
