Hey Paul! I got a Wii today. I got Zelda and TH Downhill Jam. I have a target card worth 1 more game...what game should I buy? Is Madden good? How about super monkey ball? What other fun stuff should I be doing with it?

I, for one, do NOT recommend Red Steal. Rent it, though.

I'd also say not to buy a guide for Zelda. I'm 35 hours in, and I got all the mirror pieces. I think I'm close to done, and it would really stink if the game was quicker than that from using a guide. [OK, I just wrote out a bunch of clues as to how to catch a reek fish... but now I think you're at an earlier fish quest... since you don't have a reel yet, once you got a fish hooked, just hold the wiimote up. It took me forever to figure that one out... way too simple... but once you find the fishin' hole where you can use a reel... it's funner.)

Wait for a better Madden for Wii. Hopefully next year's will be good.

Right now I have Zelda, Excite Truck, Rayman Ravid Rabbids, and Super Swing Golf, all I enjoy very much. Last time I was at the store, I debated between Rayman and Monkey Ball. I'm very happy with Rayman, but I'll probably get Monkey Ball eventually, too... cuz I'm a whore.

So, if you want a bunch of fun, quick mini-games, go with Rayman. I was skeptical at first, but it really is fun, and really really funny... to me, at least.

If you want something you can play for a quick bit, but want something longer than a 30 second mini game, go with Excite Truck or Monkey Ball. I'd give the nudge to Excite Truck. Again, I didn't think I'd get it or like it, but it's really fun and intense.

If you like golf, and want more courses and better control than the golf game in Wii sports, Super Swing has a hell of a lot of courses, play modes, and unlockables.

There, I made your choice no easier!

Also, assuming you've got your Wii hooked up to the net, go to your address book in your message center, and register the number...

then find your Wii number, and post it. Then we can exchange Miis, and once there are online games, we can do that, too.

thanks for the info. I finally got the fishing to work...that was quite aggravating. Right now I'm a wolf trying to escape from that cell.

Got your # added. Mine is:

Is the work for a frog lure really worth it or no?
