I'm not really depressed, I'm jus disappointed with the turnings of tonight.

First, my father WAS getting me a laptop, but now isn't for some reason. This makes me sad. He will someday, but I really wanted one now. It's funny because I'm very competitive with my older and younger sisters, and both of them have one. My little sister got her first CD before me, got a cell phone before me, got a laptop before me, etc. But I'll get one, in time, I'll get one.

Second, I went out with Tasha tonight. I love that girl! She's the best, truly! So we went to virutral reality (sp?) in Mesa for my tattoo of a natgatal star (sp?)--yes, I changed what I'm getting. Sadly, they were booked for tonight and couldn't give me one.

So we drove, alot, and finally we got to Mill, where we KNOW there are tattoo places and went into one, and we had to make an appointment for tomorrow. This makes me sad, but makes me happy b/c I really want a tattoo, and will be able to get one. I have an appointment, and a deposit and everything. Website: www.livingcanvastattoos.com. Go there and tell me what you think.

Anyway, driving back to Q-Zone, where Gabe-Tasha's boyfriend works, we decided to stop at Starbucks on Staply and the 60. Stopped and got coffee and I noticed there was this very cute, very nice guy who took my order. I was fascinated.

So, I was talking to Tash, and she decided he was indeed gay and I should do the number thing. I chickened out and so we left. I went to Q-Zone, and we hung out there for a bit until Jeff Whitlock and some of his friends--none that go to our school-showed up, and we went and played laser tag for a bit. That was fun and free--make friends in high places y'all. Anyway, I don't know how I did, I didn't even get that stupid print out for it. So, hung out a bit with them. Did some major hitting on Jeff and his friend Mike that goes to ASU. Then Hilton and Tom Olmstead showed up, and we hung out for a bit, until Jeff and his friends left, and Hilton and Tash talked. Olmstead and I were left to chat. He's a nice guy. I think he'll go far in life.

Anyway, they left and Tash and I were like, what now? So...we thought, then called Starbucks and found out that they close at 12:30...and it was my cute guy that answered and told me this. This was at 11:15. So, we rushed out of Q-Zone, not really-there was some kissing between Gabe and Tash (Gabe is AWESOME btw!) anyway, we got to Starbucks and I ordered another coffee drink--OMG, addiction. I made the brave step of getting a name, Alex, and some info about my starbucks friend. Alex is a cool guy, I decided.

So, he went into the back, and I sat down and Tash and I decided I MUST give him my number b/c he is very much gay.

So, we wait, and wait...nothing. Finally, Tash--who has courage, asks this one awesome pregnant lady if he's gay. She was like, "I'm so sorry...he's not." Tasha did explain that friend thing, and she came up to me and was like: "i'm so sorry he's not gay. i thought so too at first. I'm sorry." and did the oh, hug thing and all that jazz.

Disappointed but proud that I had taken the flirtiouse steps, I walked out w/ Tasha and I drove her home. And got home myself.

It was a good exsperience only because I was brave. I took a stanze. and my horoscope said I should:

"Your bravery is truly inspiring, but ... only up to a point. If blind courage isn't getting you ahead, try confiding your troubles to a compassionate and creative friend instead. That could pull you out of your rut."

Tasha is a great friend. We are so much alike, and I LOVE--flat out LOVE her boyfriend. He's wonderful...

off to bed now, even though I have EXTREME coffee headach (too much flirting and coffee getting at a place I don't enjoy...Starbucks, eww! Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf baby!).

I'm gone.

night all, love you guys mucho,
-ray
