Henry had busted his way into the Sheriff's Station on one of the first days he'd been in town- before Noah had gotten there even, so gaining entrance was not an issue. It was a small place- the force had probably had five officers or less given the size of the town. There were only two desks in the bull pen and one small office labeled only Sheriff.
Henry didn't make for the gun locker first thing, instead he went to the small office. He hadn't gone through the recent case files the first time he'd been there because there hadn't seemed to be any need, but now he was hoping for any information he could find about the new creature they'd encountered. The office smelled of old coffee and Henry's nose twitched at the familiarity. He walked around the desk, sat in the dead sheriff's chair and opened the topmost file on the desk.
