So I promised to tell about how totally crappy last Thursday was. so before I forget:
~I woke up five minutes before I was supposed to leave. And right after school I had to work so I needed to get everything ready for both work and school.
~My ponytail broke while I was trying to put it on. So I had to go find another.
~Then while I was putting my new one on it got caught. In my ring. Somehow it broke open and... grrr
~It's nasty outside. I'm almost out of gas and definitely out of time.
~My class wasn't too bad. Twas the last class of the year. Nutrition. All I had to do was take a test.
~told Debbie I got out at 9 but I got out at 8:30 so I drive around to the student center, gather my 8 textbooks (five from this semester, 3 from last year), and hike across the parking lot in the rain with them. Only to find out that the book buy back doesn't start until 9. And there's already a line. Screw it. I buy gas on the way to debbie's.
~I get to debbies and find that hailee is crying so as to manipulate her mom into staying longer. She has tried this with success every day since then.
~debbie asks if I could stay till 6 today. I agreed. Little did I know that this would become a regular thing with her. "good morning. Could you stay until 6 today?" "hi, can you stay until damon comes home at 6:15?" I'm gonna see how much extra she pays me this week and if it's not satisfactory I'll tell her to piss off.
~So after work I drive over to south campus and drag my books in there. I stand in line, the lady tells me that she can't take the nutrition book without the cd. And they don't need anymore HTML ones. And the other books are ringing up at wholesale price instead of retail so since I have to go to center campus anyways I should just take all of them there. So I take my 8 books for their 4th walk of the day back to my car. Oh buy the way this was one of the windiest days in recent history. Wich makes it really hard to drive.
~I drive home. Grab the cd and run back outside. Katie's friend, who I later figured out was jenna, was there. And she was all friendly and stuff and I didn’t know what the hell was going on so I came off as a moron.
~I drive over to center campus for the 2nd time that day. Stand in a really long line with my books. Some guy comes over and starts pointing at my books. "We've hit the limit on that one. We're not taking that one..." so I put the useless nutrition book that cost me $67 in the "recycle" box. I'm quite positive that they'll pick it out of the box and put it on the shelf. I also put the useless lifestyle choices book in there. I get $74.25 for my two childcare books and the HTML one. They don't use the old lit one anymore but I kept it cuz I might read it. She offered me $5 for an old childcare book that I thought I liked but then never used. I decided to keep it. It's worth more than $5. And there's this book on how to write research papers that I really did not open once. She looks at it and says, "We don't use this book". So I said "I didn't use it either." She didn’t think it was very funny. So I brought in $370.30 worth of books ($261.90 if you don't count the old ones) and I got $74.25 for them! That's terrible! It would be different if I *used* the books. So I decided that next semester I'm not buying any books until after the first 2 weeks. If by then I feel I need it, I'll buy it.
~So I finally come home and say "that sucked". Mom goes "what sucked?" "Today. Today sucked."
~Then like an hour later I find out what I thought then was good news. That the computer guy called.
Yah so last Friday I was thinking about how crappy it was that two days in a row were really really crappy but then I realized that I was supposed to find out about the death of my computer on Thursday. So it was just that day. Black Thursday man. Second Thursday in may. Mark your calendars.
Well I was going to do current movie but I'm bored of typing.
holey moley, all you gotta do is complain...
i found this on
http://www.guypearceonline.com/news.htm"THE HARD WORD, Guy's new film, has found a US distributor."
"Release is planned for late this year."
