i dont think ive ever seen a willem defoe movie before. i should see some. he kicked ass in spiderman. and he won some bonus points for being a skinny guy in a black trenchcoat. nice. so anyways. i should see some more of his movies because he might make it onto the Pretty Damn Cool list. the fact that he's a creepy looking fucker (despite his really nice cheekbones) will keep keep him off the Incredibly Cool People list.

*thinks* hey. some movie i have... cant remember which one... has a preview for shadow of the vampire. and every time i see the preview i wonder why i havent seen the movie yet. john malkovich, eddie izzard, obsessive movie guy... what else do you need?
last time i thought that about a movie it was arlington road. and ive seen that about 6 times since whenever i finally bought it.

hey, im going to media play on tuesday (10:00 am est) i should look for shadow of a vampire there.

here's some spiderman triva that i found on imdb.com:
~Before Willem Dafoe received the role of the Green Goblin, both Nicolas Cage and John Malkovich were offered the role. Malkovich and Dafoe starred together in Shadow of the Vampire (2000), which was produced by Nicolas Cage.
~David Fincher was offered the chance to direct, but turned it down.

now dont get me wrong, willem dafoe was great, but nicolas cage or john malkovich! they both would have kicked ass.
and this could have been a david fincher movie! no fair! of course if fincher directed it, it would have to be rated r and that wouldnt fly but still... *cries*

ok i think i'll go to bed now. we'll not to sleep but to bed.

oh and nikki, i have nothing to email you about and there's nothing in your livejournal for me to reply to. heard from elise since the last time i asked you?
