Last minute cosplay Prt. II. The Sequel.
Well! This morning I spoke of last minute plans to make a party or Red Room version Stein somehow. Thinking about how to best do that, I basically decided that probably my best bet would be to try to come up with a new top that could be worn under a blazer that I already own. I'd rather not ruin the blazer, so I didn't modify it, but... I think it'll kinda maybe work. Sorta.
As for the new top itself? I figured I'd go with something I could dual purpose- I've been wanting to make Stein's new outfit from Chapters 61/62 for a while now. My Marie already made the second version outfit some time ago, so it was about time I try to do so myself! So, a quick trip to Ross to pick up something I could re purpose and several hours Steining it up later, I have what I feel will more or less work for it.
Here is the actual design for his new outfit... Which is way badass and Waaah, I love these guys. So epic...
And my own poor-mans version of it.
Yeah, It's not perfect. I wanted something a little closer, honestly... BUT, I don't have much moneys and my sewing abilities are far from amazing, and I think- hope- it works. More or less. Mostly. XD Of corse my normal labcoat will go with it still. XD I'll have to see tomorrow how I think it actually works being worn. Wish me luck, all!
