A bit of directors comentary does not an announcement make. Let's just wait, and let the powers that be actually do their work before anybody starts Raging. I've never read the books, and while there are certainly plenty of things I've heard secondarily that I could chuckle at, they certainly have fans. There are fans of the books, fans of the movie, and if this happens, there will be fans of the cartoon. It's not like it's going to change anything, or give anybody new annoyances to deal with. It's just a cartoon based on a movie. They're making an anime version of Mad Max, too. I just don't think it's worth complaining about untill somebody bolts you to a chair to force you to watch something.

In fact, while I havn't read the books or seen the movie and I doubt I would nessicarily particularly enjoy either, I kinda hope they do make an animated version, and that it's true to the books and film. That would make a lot of fans very happy, so what's really wrong with that? So to you, a fandom I am not part of and that would normally never mix with mah robots, I wish good luck and providence that you are given something you'll actually enjoy.

altruistic fandomism
