Anybody on this list ever used a little service called Rinkya?

Yeah, don't. I swear, I've never had such a runaround before. You'd think they'd be in the business of making money.

Alright, so here's the situation- I placed a proxy bid on an item, under an agreement with a friend that she'd middleman for me if I payed her back next week. No problem, right? Due to extraneous circumstances, I no longer have access to my own paypal or bank account, so I have to rely on the kindness of friends and family for such things. It's a fairly normal situation.

The runaround I got still has me fuming. They not only rejected my friends paypal payment to them for the correct account twice, but they actually had the gall to send me threatening email statements multiple times. Apparently they don't accept any sort of payment for anybody not listed on their accounts, but you can't add somebody to your account (or even change your billing address, apparently.) So basically, according to their policies, nobody ever moves or gets married or has a name change for any reason, let alone buys something to have sent to a friend. I realize that they have to have policies in place for security, but a paypal transaction can be cancelled/voided anyway if there was any foulplay going on.

So basically, because I asked a friend to do me a favor, they sent us both harassing/threatening statements and closed my account with them.

They also made their fees less clear than they could have and would have charged me almost double in fees what I was expecting. That's half my fault for not having read better, but ugh.

Fuck.

Them.

So yeah, friends, anybody reading. I'm never using these assholes again, and I highly suggest none of you do, either. Word of mouth and all that, these guys are idiots who clearly don't want or deserve my importing business from now on.

raaaaaage
