More detail emerges
Alright, so I know a little more about what's going on but I probably won't know the whole story and what needs to be done for a few days yet. I'm still going to try to remain cautiously optimistic because otherwise I'm going to die of anxiety and stress.
So instead, I've been working on my mech model all day. Always helps to have a hobby to throw yourself into, right? hah. I am making significant progress, at least. The paint I bought the other day has been helpful, and I was able to mix a good match for the blue I was using. I hate to say it, but the old hobby shop, as faithful as I was to them, was a little problematic in that they didn't get 'new' paint shipments often since they didn't get a lot of foot-traffic. The paint I bought from the 'new' shop was much fresher and easier to work with. It's still a shame that I won't be able to buy gundam kits as easily in this town anymore, but with this new finantial thing looming overhead, that's not even something I need to be concerned about.
Meanwhile, I've been watching international news all day. I do have things to say about that- like the new deal with the Military is interesting. Good to see they're actually doing something for the budget that'll actually help, but a bit scary to think about relationships with China deteriorating. Be interesting to see how this actually pans out.
