New Super Robot Wars Anime! HOW LONG I HAVE WAITED
This, of all things, DESERVES a post.
I've been waiting in vain forever for a second season of super robot wars, knowing in my heart that it would never happen...
Well, it's happening.
Super Robot Wars Original Generations: The Inspectors will be starting this fall, at the helm of veteran director Masami Obari- Better known for his work with such series as Gravion, and best known to me as the director behind the old Fatal Fury animated specials. This is a man who knows how to handle two things- Fighting and fanservice. He's *perfect* for super robot wars.
From initial information it seems that the anime will cover the storyline of SRW OG2, which depicted the Inspector invasion, the Shadow Mirror infiltration, and the Einst Wars. Here's hoping the anime follows all of that! The name obviously shows that we'll be getting the inspectors, and the appearance of Lamia an Axel seals the deal for the Shadow Mirrors, so here's to hoping they go all out and do the whole story!
