I haven't updated my journal in a while. Here a couple of things.
1. The parents stayed with for four days last week. It was good to see them and spend time, butfour days was just a little long. I live in a one bedroom condo, so when they come I stay on the couch.
2. I'm all signed up for Winter Fire. Got my room booked for three night. cuisinartiste is going to have a tough time making the event. She may be booked with family obligations. I'll miss her tremendously if she can't make it, but I'll make the best of the event. I'm encouraging as many of you as possible to make it. Let me know when you sign up.
3. Work has been busy. Lots of things being juggled at the same time. It's almost the end of the first quarter. Parents and kids are getting a little crazy about grades..
4. Went to two fun dinner parties last weekend. Thanks go out to the hosts.
5. My condo building said those two ugly words last week-Special Assessment. They want me to pay them an extra $2700.00 over the next two years (in addition to my condo fee-which is going up by 9%). Not sure how I'm going to pay for all these things. A more responsible person would save my money by not going to Winterfire, but I think all of you know me better than that.
6. I get the day off tomorrow. I'm all kinds of excited about it. But I'll still need to go to happy hour at Ella's tomorrow night.
7. Going to my first Redskins game on Sunday. I usually go four times a year. Let's hope they break their two game losing streak.
Kinda catches everybody up with me.
