So........
I'm at work right now. I was ten minutes late. I didn't care. I still don't actually. I had to go in on Saturday at 2-ish. Maybe a little earlier. Mind you, that's 2 PM. Saturday afternoon. Wanna know when I left? Do ya? Sunday at 3 AM. That's right.
I hate computers.
But anyway. Yesterday was kinda fun. I didn't do much in the morning. I woke up after only 6 hours of sleep. Ordinarily, that would majorly suck for me but it didn't so that was cause for suspicion. I guess those late night hours didn't affect me then. But holy smokes are they affecting me now! I'm in this daze-y thing. I miss my energy and wide-awakeiness.
I can do this. Just 4 more hours and I can go home.
So anyhoo about yesterday. Steve Casey came over. Which is always fun. Aside from just making ME laugh, he cracks up Dave and I love that. Dave has a fun laugh to listen to. I should record him one day and use it as a ringtone. ANYWAY! We hit up White Castle. Now, lemmie tell you's. USUALLY, my agenda at the Castle is cheese fries and two burgers, right? Well, that just didn't feel like it was gonna cut it this time - so I ate Dave's burger. Still not full. After a few minutes of deliberation [actually it was more like seconds] I turned around, went back and got two more burgers. I was fine all night. However. This morning it came a-knockin' on the door. Haha. But it was worth it. I wish they had White Castle car fresheners. Cuz those tiny little burgers are a beautiful thing.
SIDE NOTE: Wanna hear something gross? Yeah, well, you're gonna. There's a reason those WC burgers go straight through you. Apparently, [and this is per Steve] the meat is SUCH a low grade that they have to mix in a laxative so it will pass through the digestive system... Grossed out? I found this out before I went to White Castle, by the way. That kind of information doesn't scare me at all. In fact, it makes me want it even more. I think I'm just struggling with a lot of rebellion. I went to McDonald's after watching Super Size Me. [Great flick by the way. Go pick it up if you haven't seen it.]
Back to the story. So, afterwards, we went to Princeton U for the Shane&Shane/Phil Wickham concert. It was ok. I didn't realize Wickham was gonna be there or I would've showed up earlier. I don't listen to Shane&Shane though so I didn't care much for that part. Dave and Steve were about the S&S part. The campus was beautiful. Everything is old and castle-like and very pretty. All [or most] of the buildings were made of giant stones and tiny windows. For architectural photography that's the place to go.
We got some Ice Cream after the show from this place on Nassau St. It was tasty. A few of the "!mprint Originals" were there which was awesome. Lemmie just say: I heart Erin, Tara and Trish. Those girls are awesome women and they're just...awesome. =)
A little while later we're standing in front of the Ice Cream place on the sidewalk and a cop pulls over a PA driver right in front of us! I'm freakin' out of course cuz I love to watch this stuff [except on TV, cuz then it's boring]. They made him get out of the car. It was this tiny Mexican dude. They made him "walk the line" and they were shining lights in his eyes. I felt kinda bad cuz he probably couldn't speak English and all 3 cops were whities. So, after their shenanigans [which seemed like forever - cops can be really annoying] they finally cuffed him and put him in the car. There were some people in the back of his car too. They didn't cuff those guys but they left with the police too. They were like...old...and stuff. Which I felt bad about too cuz this one old guy was carrying two plastic bags full of fruit. ? Yeah. Fruit. Maybe they just went grocery shopping. Who knows. I heard someone say something about an open bottle. So maybe he was driving with an open bottle of alky. Teguilla, ole! Sorry... I tend to be nosey.
Anyways, after that, there was quite the ruckus in the back seat of my car. Laughter HAS GOT TO BE one the loudest sounds on Earth. Sometimes. Cuz it was pretty loud in my car last night as Steve was telling us a crazy story about himself. I was half asleep at the time but I caught most of it I think...I think. My sister and Dorianna had a funny tale too. Having to do with CVS, a bathroom and a lady who was frantic to use the potty. Pretty funny. Guess you had to be there...
Have a day.
