Reveling in the House of Essex
I'm still recovering from the great time I had at the Essex Family Reunion and am very appreciative of the family tree, which shows my father and his ancestors on it. It's always nice to know where you come and who you're related to, yes?
Oh, and speaking of which, I have a cousin --- Trai Essex --- who plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers! He was the "star" of the reunion along with my great niece, Elicia, who just graduated from Indiana University's Medical School (rah rah for both!). The only thing that was missing was Trai's Super Bowl ring, which he keeps in a safety deposit box. Guess that's a fine place for a custom made diamond studded ring. . .
