A Guide to The Sentinel on LiveJournal
Detective Jim Ellison, a former Army Ranger, is a modern-day Sentinel, a man with all five senses heightened. Blair Sandburg, a graduate student working on his PhD in anthropology at a local university, has been looking for a Sentinel since reading about their existence. He offers to assist Jim with his senses in return for being able to write about him for his dissertation. The two very different men team up-Blair obtains an observer pass to ride along with Jim on the job and moves in with Jim when the warehouse he was living in blows up-to solve crime using Jim’s sensory advantage, and along the way become friends.
