Back in Feb I had a to do list:
Settle on flowers and talk to the florist- TBD on April 30 at walkthrough
Buy copy of "Fields of Gold"
Settle on Menu - TBD on April 30 at walkthrough
Find place for Bridesmaid Luncheon
Pick up invites
Look for wax sealer (preferably monogrammed)
Look for battery powered paper lanterns cheap - Decided instead on many candles and walkway luminaries: Check!
Look for Thistle stamp/stencil or other niffty "Celtic" design - Decided against on matters of cheesy theme overload
Remind Chris to buy his Fly Plaid
Get Kilt rental info out to the guys
I have also accomplished:
Purchase of the wedding rings
Purchase of the BM gifts
Sending of the Invitations
BM dress purchase
BM shoe purchase
Centerpiece creation
Ballroom Dance lessons
First dance song choice (well it's narrowed down to three)
and various and assundry wedding chores like tanning, making regular nail appointments, hair appointments, physicals, dental appointments, dog training and so forth.
Progress is being made.
However, I want to go ahead and let you know that wedding planning is exhausting and frustrating. I can't wait to go on the Honeymoon at this point. DisneyWorld Here I Come!!!
My first shower is coming up 04/29/06. I can't wait.
In think my subject said I was going to talk about work next. But to be honest, I'm bored with work and the wedding is much more fun. I'm off to investigate ways to become independantly wealthy overnight. LOL
