Ok, here's my proposed solution.
We all stay home Christmas Eve (except church in the morning). We order Chinese food and watch a movie. Maybe go drive around Taffy Lane to look at the Christmas lights.
You stay home for Christmas Day. You get up with us in the morning and open presents and pretend to be happy. We all go to Tom and Dee's and act like everything is okay.
I would really appreciate if you watch the kids Thursday and Friday night (rehearsal and concert). I have a pass for a free "party" at Cosmic Adventures on Friday night, including pizza dinner, so you can take the kids to that if you want.
After Christmas, we can talk about what happens next.
