WEATHER:
The sun rises, but it looks like you’re not going to see much of it this morning, New Babylon. A thick fog has fallen upon the city and won’t lift until midday. By the time midday arrives the fog is replaced with thick storm clouds. L12 and L11 will have a spotty chance of rain here and there, the same goes for L10 but the rain is a bit more frequent. For L8 there will be plenty of thunder, and if it isn’t pouring then the rain will certainly stay at a dismal drizzle. L7 fares a bit worse with the possibility of damaging winds, but the worst of will be L3-L1. Way down you’ll have the high chance of running into a tornado or two. Lightning, thunder, damaging winds, and floods will also not be uncommon.
The temperature is around 60F overall for the higher levels. For L11 the temperature goes down three degrees, the same happens with L10, L9 and L8, but drops drastically at L7 to around 36F and keeps going down until at L1 it's around -20F and down below between -30F to -40F.
The rain turns filthy and mildly acidic below L8, and only worse from there on.
RUMORS:
¤ Rumor has it that the faulty advertisements on the web and the riots that occurred on L8 are connected. You won’t have to have that sharp of an ear to hear about this, people are speculating about it all over the city.
¤ Additionally, it seems as if a strange group of assassins was at the riots as well. They acted rather valiantly for the mutants, appearing when the police began to assault them. They all wore strange masquerade masks and rather theatrical attire. Their weapons were rather strange as well ranging from guns, to swords, to axes, and even a scythe…! The rumor here is that more than a few policemen met their death here, but exact numbers haven’t been released.
¤ On a lighter note, it appears that a winning lotto ticket is floating around the city! Is it floating about a store, or has it been destroyed in a storm? Either way, you can bet your penniless pocket that quite a few people are on the lookout for it.

Scantly Clad Teens
A growing problem around L8 and L9 seems to be the fact that kids of all shapes and sizes seem to be wearing some rather provocative clothing. To coincide with the parties as of late some schools have hosted a dance for the students. Sadly, quite a few had to be kicked out due to inappropriate clothing! Despite the bad weather a few determined kids have decided to protest outside of the schools. They claim that their ways of dress are merely them expressing themselves, and the fact they aren’t allowed to is not fair or justifiable.
