ripping records to mp3 help!
okay, i have a bunch of my parents old records / obscure random stuff i've bought that i cant for the life of my find on mp3 that i want to convert.
i managed to get this to work a while back but i cant remember how the hell i did it.
firstly my record player is a bit of a pain in the ass, it just plays out fuzz when i plug it into the aux or phono part of the amplifier on the hifi. so its in the cd part, i have the output plugged into the 'line in' part of my computer. nothing plays. i put it through the output and it plays but its not going through the soundcard so i cant record it.
any idea how the hell i can get it to work?
SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THIS SORT OF STUFF HELP ME OUT PLEASE?
i dont really have much idea what i'm doing really.
