tapestry: site specific
I dont really know what this project is ment to be about. I made up some crap for my crit that its ment to be a snapshot of me (well the middle thing kind of is, the frame has been lying broken in my locker since the bricolage shoot, and that skarf has been there for god knows how long, along with that fabric. The pantings are just me pissing away my dad off work on saturday. idk, i never seem to plan my artowkr. it all just sort of comes together 10 minutes before the crit...(ps. the pink square is someone else's project but it actually kind of works with mine and when we had the crit there was about 100 toy soldiers along the rails below, it was aceness!)
I guess it sort of works, although i suck at documenting artwork (its on a stairwell between 2 floors btw). The way the light comes through the fabric looks really cool and the rectangles of the window frames behind compliment it. but yeah.
i'm so crap at updating lj these days.
bleh i;d better go! tapestry 2nd year itnerview tomorrow, sculpture crit (still got no idea what my project is ment to be!), photography crit on wed + second year interview. then i have a 900 word essay to do before i can spend saturday night in some sort of booze induced state with miss alys in glasgow!
