Lawyerly update...
So I call the lawyer today and he said he looked over the papers. He said it sounds like standard stuff, but he said I needed to set up another consultation to go over it. But isnce that's $100 he suggested I wait until I get the papers physically in hand and then go talk to him.
He is actually a really nice guy, his entire practice is built around keeping divorce costs low. Imagine: a lawyer who isn't all about maximum billable hours... I almost wonder if I should trust him ROFL
