Scientists are conducting experiments to change the sexuality of “gay” sheep in a programme that critics fear could pave the way for breeding out homosexuality in humans.

bahahaha, that's awesome. I don't see why gays are getting so worked up over it. (And nobody cares what you have to say, PETA. Shut up and go sit in your corner ...)

Since when did parents not have the right to raise their children the way they feel appropriate? Sure, it raises questions of eugenics, but ultimately, does it matter if the ratio of gay people in the future drops from 10% to 8%?

Sexual orientation doesn't matter to me; I do not see it as "beautiful diversity" like skin color or hair color. I view it as shoe size -- very much insignificant: I couldn't care less about what size shoe you wear. If everyone's feet got a little bigger, I wouldn't care. I feel the same way about homosexuality; it's not like it makes pre-existing gay people straight ...

Same argument as in X3. There's nothing wrong with being a mutant, so there shouldn't have to be a cure.

No... The militant mutants in X3 were flat-out wrong to try to deny other mutants a choice, as was Storm when she said it shouldn't exist. Same thing here: it would be wrong to stop science simply because some don't like it.

customizing your child seems both wrong and creepy, and it removes some of the randomness and mystery of what your child will be like.

That's what I meant by raising questions of eugenics, and I agree. Hopefully, though, there will be a treatment available for adults, so they can make the decision for themselves, just like in X3.
